I have been taking this product for 3 months now and the results have been amazing for both myself and my husband. I am a 30 year old female suffering from a neuromuscular disorder (MG), joint pain, PMDD, monthly migraines, fatigue, and insomnia. I now feel healthier than ever. It took about 1.5 weeks for us to notice the effects, but we continue to feel better and better. I was scared to tell my neurologist that I was taking this (since it has not yet been approved by the FDA), but decided to tell him at my last visit. Turns out, he has been taking this same brand too!
To be fair though, to the previous reviewer, I do think that the effects are more noticeable in someone who has been chronically ill, as I was. My husband was healthy prior to starting this, and although he has more energy now, the effects are not as great in him as they have been in me.

I feel sorry for the gentleman who thinks he got no results from taking Transmax. It is possible to take Transmax and feel nothing for the following reasons. You must take Transmax 1.5 hours before exercise. This is because Resveratrol has a short life to release its energy properties to the cells. You must take it with some animal fat, such as fish, chicken, ham or Omega 3 capsules. It is important to feel the difference to be on an exercise program that you start or do daily on consecutive days. The reason for consecutive days is so you can measure your performance. Pick a distance and time your self for 3 days. This can be walking, Cycling, or swimming. It can be tread mill, provided that you have a way to measure the distance. Time your self for the same distance 3 days in a row. On the 4th day take 2 Omega3 fish oil caps with 2 Transmax 1.5 hours before you do the same exercise. You may not think you are going faster, but in most cases you will complete the exercise in less time to the same distance. You may feel better or you may not, but was your time better? Give this a try again for 2 more days. If you are not convinced by this time wait 5 days and try one more time and do not take any Transmax. The reason I suggested to wait 5 days is because Resveratrol has a residual effect and you can peak on the day after you stop taking it. I hope this helps some who are not sure. Get the one that WORKS!I have a simple question: the PRODUCT DESCRIPTION claims that Biotivia’s products are being used currently by first-class institutions for research purposes. Biotivia also claims on its site that it is a major supplier for these institutions, that it has its own manufacturing facility and that it does its own testing. The problem, HOWEVER, is that I can find NO information on any of the institutional sites of any mention of Biotivia or any link between the company and their research, NOR can I find out any information from Biotiivia exactly where their manufacturing and processing facilities are located. There are rumors that suppliers from China supply the ingredients, and the tablets are subsequently “manufactured” in the states. Raw ingredients supplied from China would be a real cause of concern for me as a buyer.
Does anyone have any more credible information regarding these three issues– (1) claims to be supplier to Harvard, Yale, etc., (2) manufactures its own but no mention of location of facilities and (3) origin of raw ingredients?

As you probably are aware, Resveratrol–an antioxidant–is currently being touted coast to coast and, indeed, around the world as a miracle anti-aging agent offering benefits ranging from increased energy and stamina to healthier skin, improved eyesight, even the healing of bodily diseases. Numerous testimonials on various websites praise it to the skies. It was enough to pique my interest. In doing due diligence on this product I was led to Biotivia, the company putting out the particular brand of Resveratrol reviewed here. From what I’ve been able to ascertain, Biotivia is the most well-respected, reputable, and consumer-reports validated supplement company for this product. So I decided to try it out, buying two bottles. However, to increase objectivity I shared the bottles with a friend, so that we could both observe any positive effects.
First we took the recommended (on the bottle) one capsule daily for about three weeks. We noticed no positive effects whatsover. Next, we increased our dosage to two capsules daily, and continued for about another three weeks. Still no positive effects. Finally, in near-desperation we increased our dosage to three capsules daily and continued this until we ran out–about two weeks more. Still no effects.
It was a fairly expensive experiment in futility, and I frankly am disgusted. If money were no object I would probably increase my dosage to four and continue it for about six months or so, just to give it one last chance. However, all claims about this product indicate that less than that extreme dosage, for far less time, is required to experience amazing results. As it was, my friend and I experienced nothing. What’s more, after we stopped taking it (about two weeks ago), we noticed absolutely no difference–i.e., decrease–in our energy levels.
FYI, my friend and I are in our late thirties, tall, healthy and active, but looking for that extra boost. So is it possible that the purported anti-aging benefits show up more strongly–or at all–only in the elderly and/or infirm? Yes, it’s possible. Still, caveat emptor!
