Anti-Aging and Laser Treatment

amino-genesis-bWith so many anti aging and laser treatments available on the market, you can get confused with choosing what works best for you. All of them claim to come from only the best brands and from trusted sources. But what exactly are they?

The word we hear most may be Botox. This treatment basically helps ease away frown lines. Lasers, on the other hand, are used to stimulate your skin to tighten or lighten. The machines that perform these tasks use three forms of controlled heat: light, pulsed light, or radiofrequency.

The easiest way to understand the treatments is to divide them into smaller categories:

1. Skin whitening: machines that use Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) are used here. These non-ablative lasers work on skin tone, to clear away broken veins, capillaries, and pigmentation. People wilth large pores and uneven skin tone can also opt for this type of treatment.

2. Skin tightening and firming: thermal treatments are used here. This usually involves radiofrequency (RF) or infrared (IR) to penetrate deeper into the layers of your skin. For skin that’s been badly damaged, the machines stimulate the skin’s healing process, which, of course, slows down with age. The skin is stimulated to produce collagen. And as we all know, this substance makes skin tighter.

3. Ablative laser treatments: Older models of the machine do more damage than good. Fortunately, these mistakes have been corrected. The newer lines of laser machine target the top layer of the skin without being too invasive. In return, more sessions will be necessary to achieve the desired results. This, of course, means that the light won’t shock your system and will peel away unwanted layers without exposing the raw skin underneath.

It’s best to consult with your doctor first so that they can tell you which treatment you most need. Never try to scrimp on your budget and just go to someone because of the low price they offer. Many have fallen victims to frauds and sometimes, the damage can no longer be corrected. Always check that your doctor is certified to perform laser treatments and ask to see lots of before and after pictures of their patients so that you are able to gauge their work. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and ask what the possible side effects of the treatment will be. Just know that everything has a side effect, even laser treatments.

What makes laser treatment more popular is its ability to diminish or eliminate imperfections with minimal bleeding, bruising, and scarring. It uses beams of cosmetic laser light to perform the surgery. Laser treatment technology has definitely revolutionized anti aging treatments within the field of cosmetic surgery. It continues to implement advancements in the technology, making this one of the safest options for people. Some of the imperfections may be covered up with beauty products and makeup. The “pigment-blasting” eliminates the brown patches and spots that often occur with aging so that you never have to worry about covering it again. You no longer need to fret about wearing your swimsuit.

The Science Behind Looking Young

amino-genesis-GScientists have successfully made breakthroughs in decoding the human gene. Years ago, this seemed a too-ambitious project. However, advancements in technology have made the study of human DNA not only possible, but very doable as well. If researchers of skin care products are right, gene sequencing can be the new way of finding the perfect ingredients to make old skin look and feel new once more. More importantly, by better understanding how skin ages on a molecular level, the easier it will be to uncover what is needed to completely win over and even reverse the natural process of aging.

Scientists have been looking at genetics for solving this issue. The process of applying sophisticated genetic research to skin care began roughly ten years ago. The people at work used the technology they had available to test the various ingredients. They wanted to see how each element reacted to the various skin types. They made sure that the effects were felt on a molecular level because this is the best way to overcome the process of aging. If the change happens only on a superficial level, then the effects won’t last as long.

They specifically focused on the way skin metabolizes lipids. Lipids are basically compounds that play a major role in keeping your skin healthy and young. They wanted to know how the metabolic process changes with both age and environmental factors play a role in these changes. In fact, they observed that those exposed to the sun aged faster than those who were vigilant about staying away from its harmful rays. The sun reduces the skin’s ability to repair itself.

They looked for ingredients that could intervene in that declining route. They wanted to enhance lipid production and the repair process that follows. Procter and Gamble, one of the world’s biggest companies, introduced an ingredient known as hexamidine. Along with niacinamide (or vitamin B3) yielded an increase in the gene expression that is connected with lipid production. They made clinical trials and have had great feedback. In fact, those who used the products that had these two components were more than pleased with the results. The other companies such as L’Oreal and Estee Lauder followed in their footsteps.

These products that are otherwise known as miracles in a jar have aided women in their plight. Each product has given them hope in rejuvenating their skin to make it look young once more. Feeling young can be possible with exercise and the right kind of diet. What these products do is push them forward and encourage them to get into the right attitude. Being vain about your skin is now accepted. Cosmetics and skin-care products fill the shelves to the brim. Many have gotten into the rage, and even the men are starting to appreciate its value.

Over the past many centuries, scientists and alchemists have tried to find a proper method and a cure for aging. While modern science has acknowledged and accepted many of these techniques, slowing down the aging process will work better if the remedy also influences the skin’s core.

Relieving Your Body of Aches and Pains

People who injure themselves will end up paying for it as they get older. Older people, in particular, are more prone to accidents because they generally lack balance, strength, and flexibility.

The reason older people often feel stiff in the morning is due to a natural part of the aging process. Their muscles and bones aren’t as stable as they once were. This is mainly due to fascia. This is the glue that connects every part of the body together. Fascia binds specific cells into tissues, tissues into organs, and organs into systems. It cements all internal structures into place and envelopes the entire body. Its main role is to keep your body strong and healthy by allowing you freedom of movement.

When you were younger, the fascia was pliable and flexible. Once you reach the age of 35, you will feel your body start to lose its elasticity. You’ll know when this happens because you feel tautness in places you’ve never expected. , As you continue to become older, you will find that everything becomes worse. Once you give in to the pain and contort your body just to make it feel better, you will find yourself permanently settling into this awkward position.

Change is in fact a part of life. At age 30, you might feel stiff and achy after a strenuous day beforehand. At 40 the stiffness and pain seem to last longer. At 50 this feeling becomes part of your morning routine. Then, you might think that things could even get worse. Is there a cure for this? Yes, there is. If you take good physical care of yourself, you may be able to get back some of the physical strength and agility you had when you were younger. You just really need to invest in your health through regular regimen of moderate exercise, stretching, and strength training. You can restore your body’s physical health and at the same time, protect yourself from future injuries.

Another great option is the spa therapy. This seems to be the latest innovation in home therapy. Adults enjoy the benefits without the hassle of driving to a spa. Of course, this requires a sizable chunk in your savings. However the therapeutic benefits could not be better. People are now looking into investing on something like this because the equipment involved were designed to improve your body’s health, especially when it is used regularly. The therapeutic tub has an automatic purge system that periodically runs for a few minutes after the bath. The jets are able to remove diseases from the bacteria laden water.

Major homebuilders now recognize its importance, especially in an older person’s home. Many now offer building packages so that the payment scheme is easier on the pocket. Just remember that if you put any importance to your health, you must consider every option available. Whether you choose exercise or the spa, you must prioritize your body above everything else. Investment plays a vital role here, and whether you choose to invest your time or your money is all up to you.

Strengthening Your Bones

Bones provide the overall structure and connective tissue that keeps your skin and other organs intact. Without bones, you are unable to lead a physically active life. Fractured bones are always extremely painful, and they compromise quality of life until they are repaired. It is then exceedingly important to maintain healthy bones throughout your lives. The care begins from the time you are young and continuing through the senior years.

A person’s bones are at their strongest at ages of 20 to 30 years old. After that, you lose bone continuously for the rest of your lives. Any activity helps keep bones strong, but exercises that put extra pressure on specific areas can give extra benefits. Weightlifting is a very good exercise for strengthening bones. You are never too old to start an exercise program that includes weight training to strengthen your bones. Aim to get 30 minutes daily of moderate exercise like walking, aerobics, or jogging to promote bone health and strengthen them. When you exercise, muscles move against your bones and this will make them both stronger. It does this because it causes new bone tissue to form.

Your bones are constantly changing. Doctors don’t understand or know why bone remodeling happens. It takes about 2 to 3 months for a full cycle of bone remodeling to complete. When you are young, your body builds faster. By the time reach your mid 30’s, you reach your peak bone mass. Bone remodeling doesn’t stop, however. It simply slows down after your peak.

Keeping your bones healthy is a must. It is just as important to starts as soon as you can so that you can prevent any problems later in life. Aside from exercise and weight training, you also need to take in a lot of calcium. By the age of 17, most people have about 90% of their adult bone mass built. As you age, your body will gradually remove and replace small increments of calcium from your bones. If your body can’t replace all the calcium it took, then your bones will become weaker. After the age of 18, your body stops taking in calcium. The only way to move forward is to maintain the supply that is already there.

As you all well know, the best source of calcium is milk and dairy products. These products are easy for the body to absorb. Vitamin D helps the body absorb the calcium. Dark green veggies such as broccoli and spinach have a lot of calcium in them as well.

Bones just really need calcium and other nutrients to become and remain strong. Lacking proper nutrition makes everything go downhill. Eventually the bones will begin to decay. This, of course, can lead to serious problems like fractures, falls, and immobility. As the medical community becomes more knowledgeable, they will keep informing people about simple but basic lifestyle changes that can have a positive impact on your skeletal framework.

Ask your doctor what you can do at whatever stage of life you are at to protect and preserve your bones. Following a general plan should have a good effect on your bones. Avoid osteoporosis and take care of what you have before it’s too late.

Change Your Posture as You Age

Posture has everything to do with the pains you’ll experience as you grow older. Today’s generation is usually forced to go against how they should sit or stand. You have to constantly tilt your head forward when working on the computer and you sometimes need to look down when reading a book.

Your neck and back usually pay the price for poor posture. You strain your muscles throughout the day, even without noticing. One day, you just realize that your body hurts in places you’ve never realized could hurt. You complain about old age and then continue to do nothing about it. Yes, age may be a factor, but that does not necessarily mean that you cannot do anything about it. Every problem has a solution; you just need to know where to look.

Log online, purchase books, and collect research materials related to good posture. Just so you’ll be further inspired, start by taking a closer look at the rewards you’ll reap. First of which is that you will look thinner with good posture. If you don’t believe this, try standing straight. See your waistline decrease? That’s because slouching somewhat gathers all the fat in one place, and that is your stomach. See all the love handles when you slouch? That’s exactly what is does for your body! To be able to stand properly, you need to imagine as if a string on the ceiling was lifting your rib cage. When your rib cage is lifted slightly, you’ll definitely see an inch or two disappear around from your waist.

Of course, probably the greatest benefit you’ll enjoy is looking younger than your age. People just normally assume that those with better posture are the ones who are younger. Try to take a couple of pictures of yourself. Slump your shoulders in one shot and stand straight in the other. Ask the people’s opinions. They’ll definitely think that you look better if you carry yourself with grace and poise. Nothing ages you faster than hunching your shoulders downwards. A strong and straight spine makes you look as if you are still at the prime of your life. Not only will slouching make you look older, you will also look shorter.

Studies have revealed that a person with good posture exudes strength and liveliness. People just normally assume that those who slouch are just naturally more insecure. You tell the world a lot about your emotions and your perception of yourself by the way you carry your body. Ask yourself, if you had to approach a person in the crowd, wouldn’t you pick the one who radiates confidence and vitality?

Good posture shows the people that you are proud of who you are and what you are capable of. Poor posture is simply going against nature. You are telling your joints to position themselves in such a way that they will be positioned awkwardly within your body. This causes injury and you will definitely feel it one day if you are not smart enough to do something about it. Enjoy your life and improve your body through better posture. It may feel awkward at first, but you will eventually get the hang of it. Once it is second-nature to you, you’ll see just how much trouble you’ve saved yourself.
